Fungi

I'm having a real problem with fungi in nearly all my pots. I had a tree cut down a few years ago & had the trunk made into a path. The following year millions of toadstools appeared. After 2 years of this happening i was so creeped out that i got rid of the path. Since last summer the toadstools have decided to take over my pots. Please, can anyone help...

    HELLO KAYKO,

IN YOUR GARDEN THERE ARE THREE MAIN GROUPS OF THINGS. PLANTS, ANIMALS AND FUNGI.

THEY ALL WORK TOGETHER IN A MARVELLOUS CIRCLE OF BIRTH AND DEATH, HELPING EACH OTHER TO SURVIVE AND CONTRIBUTING TO THE HEALTH OF YOUR GARDEN ENVIRONMENT.

YOU MIGHT HAVE SEEN FERTILISERS THAT PROVIDE YOUR PLANTS WITH NITROGEN AND HELP THEM TO MAKE LEAVES. FUNGI ARE NATURE’S PROVIDERS OF NITROGEN AND DO THE JOB FOR FREE.

TAKE A LOOK AT THIS CHART

AS YOU CAN SEE, EVERYTHING EXISTS TO HELP ANOTHER THING.

YOUR FUNGI WILL SOON DISAPPEAR BUT YOU CAN BE SURE THAT THEY ARE ALL PART OF THE NATURAL CYCLE OF LIFE AND DEATH.

Hi pansyface..thanks for your reply. I didn't realise what good they do. Shall I just leave them when they appear then?

YES, THEY WILL COME AND GO BUT GRADUALLY DISAPPEAR OVER TIME.
