Asparagus and globe artichoke

hello!

i ordered some asparagus crowns and a globe artichoke for my raised bed at the allotment (we are at the bottom of a slight decline but it gets very soggy if not raised). 

The plants arrived earlier this week. Do I need to get them in asap or can I store them somewhere for a few weeks until it's a bit warmer?
