Propagating laurel hedge

Hi. 

Im looking for some advice, we have a laurel hedge in our current garden however we’re moving home in 6 weeks time.

I’d like to take some cuttings to create a hedge at our new home. ive had a look around the forums but can’t seem to find any advice on taking cuttings this time of the year (winter). 

Does anyone have any step by step instructions or advice?
