viburnum plicatum kilimanjaro sunrise

I have a plant arriving this week and now find the weather in this area is likely to be very cold and frosty if the ground is workable can I plant and if not how should  I keep the shrub until conditions improve.

    Can't plant when the ground is frozen, leave it in a sheltered area, or bring inside if it starting to grow it might of been kept in a greenhouse / poly tunnel.  If it only small it might be a better idea to pot it up first.
