So, GW are offering double grafted fruit trees, one tree that grows two varieties of apple or pear.
Something different and a bit quirky. Nice. The offer is two for the price of one. Great. So I'd have 2 trees and 2 types of apple. Would I not be better off with just 2 normal, but different variety, apple trees?

Couldn't you have one apple tree with two varieties of apple, and one pear tree with two varieties of pear>
I don't know, I've not looked properly at the offer yet but that's my initial assumption.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
You could have 4 different types of apple on 2 trees!
