I am growing a young silver birch. It’s about 2 metres tall
the top part of the tree has sprouted up to nearly half a metre with very abnormal sized leaves nearly size of palm of hand
not sure why
SOUNDS LIKE IT’S HAPPY.
I’M SURE AS IT GETS OLDER IT WILL SETTLE DOWN.
YOUNG PLANTS, LIKE YOUNG ANIMALS, TEND TO GROW RAPIDLY AND RATHER HAPHAZARDLY AT FIRST.
ONCE IT SETTLES INTO ITS STRIDE I AM SURE IT WILL REVERT TO TYPE.
