Pyracantha scab?

I have a Pyracantha the berries end up shriveled. At the moment the leaves look ok it is Red Pillar. I have a large fuchsia in front of it (wondered if that's reducing air to the Pyracantha.
Will I have to replace Pyracantha with resistant variety?
Ps I have orange glow too.

Clear away fallen leaves and shrivelled berries, keep well watered during the growing season and it may be an idea to improve ventilation for the future. Mine recovered by itself with a little TLC.

  • Thanks. Have tried to get all the fallen leaves. Will persevere. Thought I might try bicarbonate spray as I try not to use chemicals.

I agree Carly, I don't spray because of the bees and other beneficial insects image
