The seeds of the day are best planted in the first hour.
Dutch Proverb

Birds are caught with seed, men with money.
Armenian Proverb

Woman without man is like a field without seed.
Ethiopian Proverb

Every seed knows its time.
Russian Proverb

The seed waits for its garden or ground where it will be sown.
South African Proverb

A person without a spouse is like a vase without flowers.

Gardeners dream bigger dreams than kings.

A weed is a master of survival yet has not learned to grow in rows.

A couple from dad who used to say "All gardening means back ache and then you taste that first tomato" Worth it in the end then I would assume.

    Frank.

    Patience is a virtue image

“This isn't life in the fast lane, it's life in the oncoming traffic.”
    ― Terry Pratchett
  • God gave us rainy days, so gardeners get some housework done.

  • One I heard recently

If the first week of December is cold, daddy Winter will get old. Meaning a long cold winter....

Love those mice!  What are they?

I heard that you need to sow four times as many seeds as you want plants:

"One for the pigeon, one for the crow, one to rot and one to grow."
