Changes to YOUR way of shopping!
Oooh, Mike I didnt know men browse shops! Course, we arent couch potatoes on here!! Not with our gadening, I also have 2 dogs that need a good run every day. I am very low tech, dont have a smart phone, tablet, just the PC here, dont do internet banking, dont trust it. I actualy hate shopping, I know women are meant to love it, I hate having to undress to try on clothes, drives me nuts, especial bras, you get in the changing room, they dont fit, there are no assistants about. I did an on-line shop at Tesco 9 years ago, my eldest son was getting married, was assured I could reject items, well, the bloke wont stand there while you go through your order, stuff had really short use by dates, and was wrongly chargrd for the booze, never done it again. I go shopping, look on-line (yup) to see if there are any deals with items I cannot get at Aldi, where I do my main shop. I have to got to Sainsbury or Tesco for a particular dog food, special milk for Hubby, its quite expensive sometimes on offer in these stores or the other week Waitrose, I dont make special journies it would defeat the object, but I take the dogs on the beach in the winter, because the woods, etc are so muddy, and go to the store on the way home. We have a really good nursery for the plants in the village here, much cheaper than garden centres and they know their stuff. There isnt a "high Street" in the village, we have a set of local shops, Tesco, Barber, Chemist,Butcher,Chinese takeaway, shop selling furniture new and secondhand, fish and chip shop, hairdressers.., we used to have a petshop/garden supplies which was brilliant, but aparently the shops have arab owners the rent tripled, its now one of the Pizza chains, no interest to me, I dont like Pizza. We did have a post office, that is the barber now, there is a post office in the old village, and one about 10 minutes walk as well. I tink the younger generation are couch potatos, they do spend all their time on their phones, playing games, on-line. I saw it at work, I had colleagues taking a patients BP texting at the same time, my Hubby sees it at work as well, one guy has been told to leave him phone in his car, (I cannot write on here what he said behind the managers back!)
