I SEE THAT YOU HOPE TO GO TO GERMANY SOON FOR WHAT SOUNDS LIKE A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF TIME.
WHO WILL LOOK AFTER YOUR ALLOTMENT DURING YOUR ABSENCE?
If you live in Derbyshire, as I do.
Good question!
The allotment will then be up for grabs. I am only renting it for a short amount of time
Was just curious to see how that differs from something like a forum. I have been looking on my Facebook gardening groups to.
I don't think everyone needs a blog, was just interested to see if people ran one and why. Or if people had a particular reason for not sharing their own personal garden stuff in that way.
Sorry if it came out wrong
Hi, I don't have a blog, gardening or otherwise... yet. I used to blog on behalf of my workplace so have written hundreds of posts (and spent many hours analysing WordPress stats), but very few as me. I've yet to find something I want to say as me!
I assume you're a member of the Garden Bloggers group on FB? It seems very active.

Haha, I like the yet part
Maybe you don't have to write anything as you, maybe you can be anon?
I'm a member of a few garden groups on FB.
Don't have time for a blog ... I paint write garden cook and chat with friends and try to help out here ... and I have to sleep some time ...

Sleep is very important!
I guess time is a big factor
The regulars on here don't need blogs.
We've talked about our gardening in 'What did you do today?', posted pics in 'Gardening Gallery', asked about problems and used our experience to help others. We talk about what we have bought and about what has done well, and all sorts of other things on 'Forkers'.We have learned about each others' gardens, the good and the bad, the challenges and successes and tried to help out along the way. That has even extended to support for those struggling with huge issues unrelated to gardening.
For many of us posting on here is talking to friends, less one sided than a blog.
You've expressed it absolutely perfectly Buttercupdays
