Please help me identify this plant so I can better look after it

Hi there. can anybody please identify my plant? I have had it a couple of months and it seems to prefer partial shade. thanks In advance!

    It is a Wallflower.

    Usually biennial or short lived perennial.

    Do best in full sun. No special care required.

    You could cut last year’s seed pods off, dry them out and sow in April, lots of new plants for the following year.

    Oh, welcome back Puncdoc, I sprinkled some wallflower seeds in a little patch down by my veg plot (they were free, I dont like them) they flowered for the next 3 years, the patch is clay, very wet, often underwater, full of brambles and bindweed from next doors "garden"!  They have now been dug out!
