    It is a Wallflower.

Usually biennial or short lived perennial.

Do best in full sun. No special care required.

He calls her the chocolate girl
Cause he thinks she melts when he touches her
She knows she's the chocolate girl
Cause she's broken up and swallowed
And wrapped in bits of silver
  • Great thanks! I’d better move it. maybe it just looks better now after being scorched last summer. Thanks again

You could cut last year’s seed pods off, dry them out and sow in April, lots of new plants for the following year.

Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

Oh, welcome back Puncdoc, I sprinkled some wallflower seeds in a little patch down by my veg plot (they were free, I dont like them) they flowered for the next 3 years, the patch is clay, very wet, often underwater, full of brambles and bindweed from next doors "garden"!  They have now been dug out!
