I just noticed my broad beans have started to get spots on them and was wondering if that is chocolate spot?
If so is that enough to kill them or will they survive, should I plant some more?
I am surprised if it is Chocolate spot it has come this early. It is not usually an issue till late in the season and by then I have usually harvested most beans. Although it looks bad it does not affect the beans inside I find. I note they are in a polytunnel, maybe you need to ventilate a bit more.
