Recycle telegraph poles posts

i have a couple of old telegraph posts knocking about. I have cut them actually, as moving them was quite impractical, though they are still in big lengths.
No idea what to do, so I’d like some suggestions. I don’t think standing them vertically is ideal for a large bit, the foundation would have to be very deep, I think, as they are very heavy.

If you live in Derbyshire, as I do.
If you want to keep them horizontal, path edging springs to mind, or using them for low level terracing.

Aye I’m in Scotland! I don’t need to keep them horizontal, just aware that I can’t have a big bit vertical easily.
I've got a couple on the dam edge of my pond, netting attached, backfilled with stones, to stop the ducks dabbling it away by undercutting.
You could use them to make 'rustic' raised beds, using round agricultural fence posts to hold them in place.
Or do you need a bridge anywhere?
If they've been coated in that thick creosote stuff (many are) then I wouldn't use them for raised beds. You'll get covered in it and it will leach into the soil.
Step edging, bank edging as buttercup says. They burn well too
