Mesh in rolawn turf
I have just extended a border, when removing turf I found mesh still in the lawn it hadn’t degraded and it’s been down nearly 10 years.
It is Rolawn turf and they too said it is biodegradable 🙄
No, I expected the reply would take some time - and I haven't heard yet....

You will generally find that they are very careful NOT to say it is
. They say that is is
, in the sure hope that people will hear/read it as biodegradable and be reassured.

I too have been the victim of this hidden mesh in wildflower meadow turf I had laid a year or so ago. Some good news (albiet too late for the those who have it in their turf), It looks as though the Government is going to ban oxo-degradable plastic - see para 3.30 in
Im so glad I stumbled across this post before ordering from Hallstone (rolawn), I assumed "Oxygrid" was some revolutionary breakthrough that was good for the environment! Its certainly worded that way here!
Unfortunately im probably in the minority that will be fortunate to spot this before its too late!

Don’t see why the above post from wood-chrisjpFracBe has been flagged.
He’s raising concerns about the way this awful product is being promoted … a perfectly reasonable post as far as I can see. 👍
