Lavender plugs

Hi there,

I bought a load of lavender plugs and have potted them on in very gritty compost. I am ordering my first greenhouse but it will not be with me, I imagine, for up to a month. Can I keep the potted on plugs in a sunny sheltered part of the garden until the greehouse arrives? Indeed, should they even enter the greenhouse when it is here, or stay outdoors?

Thanks all.

If you have a warm southerly wall, you can keep them there. It's totally up to you if you want them inside a greenhouse. If you are growing the Stoechas Lavenders, then it might be better kept inside a greenhouse during the winter months.

Thanks all, I think I will try and keep it outside but against a sheltered, southern wall. They are just hidcote, but it would be nice not to loose them all due to dampness. I'll keep an eye on them.
