What's eating my violas?
Having emptied my summer pots, I've now been planting some pretty little violas. Most are doing well, but one pot has been demolished from the flowers downwards, leaving just bare stems. Doesn't look like the usual slug damage, but perhaps it is . Any thoughts before I plant some more. Thanks for any advice.

I've found slugs can annihilate violas very quickly, but in case there are any other thoughts or advice, my reply will at least bump your query up a bit for others to see
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Earwigs love the flowers and can do real damage. Slugs will eat the lot.
