Privet Hedge Gap
Hi,
I'm looking to plant a privet hedge to replace an old overgrown set of conifers on the boundary of our property.
I've now removed the conifers but to my surprise I have discovered 2 man holes hidden along the boundary exactly where I was planning to plant the hedge.
The hedge was planned to be about 6m long and 1-1.5m high but now I have a gap of approx 1.3m where I cannot plant anything due to these 2 manholes side by side.
I'm wondering if I plant the privet either side will they fill out and make up for the 1.3m gap (65cm each)?
Thanks.
