Fence colour

I have a log fwnce made n im struggling to get a colour to match logs ...im visually impaired so reallt struggling...any suggestions please x

    Hi - would it be possible to take a log with you to a diy store? Or get someone to do that for you? I'm sure there are loads of browns available if that's what you're wanting.

    Alternatively, would you consider a contrasting colour instead? Black looks terrific behind plants etc if they're a different colour. It really depends on the effect you want to achieve   image

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    I am probably asking a silly question but why do you have to colour your fence? Is there something you are trying to fit in with?

    Are all the logs naturally different colours?  Actually that sounds nice.  Are they unprotected?  You don't have to change the colour of a log fence when you protect it.

    You could ask for a clear preservative, or do as FairyGirl says (Cuprinol Garden Shades in Urban Slate is really nice!) I don't think it's really worth trying to match the paint to the wood exactly. It'll just look like it's painted brown.
