I have just been looking on King seeds web site and if you go onto veg seeds and click on celeriac it gives information on sowing and planting out the seedlings, hope that might help,i have tried growing them from plant I have bought from garden centres and mine have always been small. Best of look Peter.

Hello have grown these on the allotment, infact got some growing at moment , However , never got them the size you get in supermarkets , don’t known why but they are organic and taste fine

Perhaps it is the chemicals/ ferterlizers  that Farmers use that make them bigger

Celeriac is one of the vegetables that are better left to the professionals. ie. farmers.

  • Thanks for your advice.

I am going persevere I’ve heard to cut all the leaves off and only keep between 3-5 leaves so am going to keep going and see what happens using these different methods.
