Planted leeks about 4 months ago but they still do not seem to very big.How long do I leave them so that they do not rot in this weather?

    Leeks are hardy winter vegetables ... they'll be fine ... they'll survive rain, snow, wind, frost ... you name it and they'll be fine. 

    If you stop taking chances, you'll stay where you sit. You won't live any longer, but it'll feel like it.”

    They'll be fine left in the ground all winter, Lickle Den, although they might become a bit 'tougher' and chewier the further we go into winter, but just pull them as and when you need them.
