Growing wild carrots

I thought I'd posted this query a couple of weeks back but it seems to have disappeared into the compost bin, I was watching Monty transplant wild carrot seedlings into modules but was distracted when it came too the next stage. I now have four trays of modules with the seedlings growing on but don't know what to do next, should I pot them on once the roots fill the module and then over-winter them in the greenhouse or cold frame or plant them where they will end up growing? Any suggestions will be most welcome.
