Rhus Typhinus - stag horn sumach.  There is a prettier form with dissected leaves.  Both sucker when happy but both forms give glorious autumn colour.

There's a beauty near me Obelixx. It's been looking splendid for a while  image

The biggest issue with them is suckering, so if it's yours James - be careful if you decide to prune it back!

Absolutely Suckers!! I know someone who wanted me to plant one in her front garden I told her she was mad. She did it anyway its only in it's 2nd year so none yet so I don't think she believes me. I have told her to wait.

The suckers can appear many feet/metres from the original plant.
