Can anyone identify tiny white thread eggs on my euonymus trees please and advise treatment. Thank you

    It does sound like scale on your shrubs. Without seeing a picture, I cannot be sure, but I do feel it would be quite hard to control if it is on large areas. On managable ares, you can use a Pyrethrin based spray from early summer next year. That is the best time to start the treatment.The other option is to prune off the areas that are affected.

    A shrub growing in optimum conditions is less likely to have such attacks, so make sure the shrub is pruned if over grown, and make sure there is good air flow around it and finally, mulching around the base with bark chips early to keep the base dry but keeping roots moist.
