Help Identifying Plants!

Hi all, 

I bought a plant in a rush whilst running errands because it looked so pretty but I completely forgot to ask the seller what the plant's name is!

The plant has begun to loose leaves from the bottom up and the flowers and buds are beginning to wither and fall.

I live in Trinidad & Tobago, a tropical island in the Caribbean.
