Pineapple Guava

I have a couple of Pineapple Guava plants that are healthy and maybe 6 years old now. I live in the Midlands.
I have never seen even a hint of a flower let alone a fruit from these plants.
Has anyone else got them and had more luck. If so, any tips?

Maybe I should fleece it over winter. I've never bothered after the first year or two as it has seemed able to cope with winter ok.
