None raised beds, raised beds!!!
Hi we have a large vegetable plot of, until 5 years ago, virgin soil. We have local ample free cow manure which unfortunately enables the weeds to grow even better than the vegetables! So next year I am planning to put in large plots bordered with wood to enable me to black cloth and bark, walk-ways in between. My thoughts being these can still be lifted each year to enable us to rotovate. Would be grateful for any thoughts or ideas of how I might do this differently/better. I am relatively new to all this and need ways to outwit all these weeds!!!
