Unknown plant
in Plants
I came across this in my garden today and was wondering if anyone could identify it please. I'm not great when it comes to knowing many plants or bushes etc but like doing a bit of gardening and just want to know if it is safe for the berries to be eaten as I have dogs and kids that will be around it and you know how unpredictable they can be sometimes.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

couldn't upload a picture from my phone
Solanum dulcamara? If so, quite toxic. See http://www.thepoisongarden.co.uk/atoz/solanum_dulcamara.htm
I have had another look and it doesn't look too much like any pictures I can see of this, however as I am no expert I am not taking any chances.
Thank you for your help
Solanum nigrum
That's definitely it, thank you.
I noticed little white flowers on it while pulling it out and they came up as soon as I ran a search through Google of the name you suggested, or as I'm more likely to remember it is 'Black Nightshade'

A little bit of information for anyone else who may be in my lack of knowledge situation
