Hi,
can someone identify this shrub I saw recently at Sizergh Castle?
It has lovely red berries
skimmia ?
Choisya?
Skimmia japonica ssp 'reevesiana' ?
Thanks all for your replies.
I've googled Skimmia japonica ssp 'reevesiana' and it looks very much like it.
They have many lovely specimens at the castle.
A good crop of berries can only be guaranteed when these shrubs are 'multi-planted' ; ie:- different clones and both genders . The more the better .
