Earlier this year GW showed Agapanthus being sawn up to split them when is the best time to do it

I do mine in early Spring, before they start growing again.
Better is spring when new growth appears
I have divided agapanthus in late autumn aswell. Just well water the plant to be divided and prepare the new planting area where the new division are going. This will ensure that the divided plants are not left exposed from out of the ground for any longer than is necessary Ensure you incorporate garden or MP compost including some FB & Bone when planting in and water in once planted.
