Overgrown Pittosporum

Help ! Our variegrated Pittosporum is beginning to outgrow our garden. Can we cut at least 2 - 3 feet off the top, and if so, when is the best time to do it.

    Hi Janet. Yes you can cut it back that much but do it in mid to late Spring.

    So if we do it late February before the blackbird starts nesting in it, will that be ok x

    I think so Janet. Don't want to disturb the nesting birds. Try to avoid any severe frost days though.
