My uncle has kindly split a huge pot grown agapanthus and given me about a 3rd. I have this in a plastic bag at the moment, taking it back to France next week. Will it survive in the bag for few days?
keep the plastic wrapped round the rootball, NOT the foliage and it should be ok.
Make sure it doesn't dry out too.
Thank you, fingers crossed it survives.
millions of plants sit in plastic pots in garden centres / nurseries for months and come to no harm.
plant can be in a plastic bag but the plant has to have air flow so you need to make small holes or the plant will rot
I would like to know if I need to cover the roots of my Erica arboreal (Albert's gold) it is in a well protected garden by a fence.
