Plant Identification - white flowers

Hello

Does anyone know the name of this plant please? It's growing in a friend's garden, has white flowers and seems to be evergreen.

Any help in identifying it is appreciated!

Thank you

  • Choisya ternata, Mexican Orange Blossom.

  • Thank you so much Alan, much appreciated.  I'm just reading up about taking cuttings!  It's a lovely plant, looking forward to seeing if I can master the propagation of it!

It is indeed a very attractive shrub Emsy. Very useful for shady areas, which many people have difficulty with.

There's also a golden version, although it isn't quite as tough as the green one. It also has white flowers, but most people grow it for the foliage  image

    Good luck with your cuttings.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • I planted these for the first time this spring 3 small plants (just dark green ternata ones)  they haven't really grown at all...They are in a east facing bed so fairly limited sunshine.  Would I be better to move them?  Also is there any pruning rules of advice with these please?

  • Thanks for the good advice lantana
