Hi

I wonder if you can help solve an ID dilemma? I rescued this tree and it has grown happily for 4 years..I have just noticed these fruits(?) fungi(?) growing for the first time.

The "fruits" are growing on the end of stems. There are only 3 which I can see on the tree...

Any idea what they are - I do not know the species of tree

    It's a Cornus (kousa?) and those are the fruits. It's a beautiful plant.
