I was digging a small flower bed today and found several of these odd looking bulbs.
I would be grateful to anyone who might help identify them.
Spanish bluebells Hyacinthoides hispanica look like that, but I can't be confident that there's nothing else they could be. I believe the jury's still out on whether or not they pose a threat to the native bluebells H. non-scripta.
Thank you, josusa47.
I never thought of that. Don't bluebells have round-ish bulbs? Unless the Spanish ones are different. Well, I had better get rid of them!
I agree with spanish bluebells, I get loads that shape, They all go in the bin.
That's where mine are going too, Peanuts!
