Lupin query

One lupin spike, which I'd left to grow as the bees were still feeding off the flowers, has now developed mini lupin plants in-between the lower pods and the still- flowering spike top. I'm unsure how/when and into what medium I can remove these to grow on.  Any help and advice will be gratefully received. TIA

    Yes.

    Not new plants, just lower flowering shoots.

    Thank you for that. I've never grown them before so wasn't sure as they were so far up the stem
