Identify Flowering Bush/Tree (Possibly Buddleia?)
in Plants
Can someone help me identify some large bush/trees I have growing as a large hedge at the front of my garden? They are completely taking over and need to identify them to check pruning advice.
It looks and behaves like a buddleia, but not sure as I don't recognise the variety.
Covered in orange clumps of flowers at this time of year. About 5 metres high.

Buddleia "Salmon Spheres".
It looks like one of the Buddleja x weyeriana varieties. A cross between B. globosa and B. davidii. I have one called sungold which carries on flowering until the frosts if deadheaded. I prune it like davidii in Spring. It flowers on new wood, unlike globosa which flowers early on the previous years wood.
