with a photo I'm sure we can, Mark
In the sticks near Peterborough
Identified it as a Snow Berry tree & as Photo I have taken dosen't seam to want to upload :-(
As Snowberry tree only grows too 150cm & is Hardy so Housing Association can Plant & leave
Symphoricarpos albus? Flowers are a pale pink and turn to white balls which the birds also love in the winter. I have it in a mixed hedge & I too leave it to flower for the bees.

Symphoricarpos albums or Snowberry is the Tree I have worked out it is so Thank you too everyone who assisted in identifying it! (with my Unhelpful Description as a Photo Wouldn't upload from my Phone! ?)
Urgh I loath snowberries, yes the bees love them, the birds round here ignore them, but they sucker and self seed something chronic, keep a very tight reign on it or it will be everywhere.
I'm with you Skandi.
I'm with you too.
My Snowberry however, which I presume started in the boundary hedge, is all over the garden and away with itself!!!!
