Hi all

Can anyone help with identifying these two plants?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated

Thanks

  • Not sure what the top one is but I think the bottom one is Lonicera "Baggenses Gold".  It can be pruned into a neat tidy bush if desired. Makes a nice hedge too.

Life's tragedy is that we get old too soon and wise too late.

I think the other one could be a spiraea

I think the spirea could be Shirobana, which has pink flowers and white flowers on the same bush.

The golden one is Lonicera nitida Baggesen's Gold.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Thank you very much folks. I can fill in the missing pieces in my plant journal now.
