Very fitting seeing as we live in Laurel Cottage but I have a Laurel tree alreadyand was hoping this was something fun as last year I had a vintage suitcase in the garden, which I turned into a planter, full of herbs and other stuff. These kept popping up and I thought I'd plonk them into pots to see what they'd become..im less excited now ha ha
The leaves are different to the ones on the the Laurel tree.
These have the spikey edges so that's why I didn't recognise them.

Can we see the whole plant please, from the side, so we can see how it is growing, leaf joints, that sort of thing
Just popped out so will take another pic when I get home. Thank you
and no hands
But I think its a seedling of Prunus laurocerasus
Prunus laurocerasus..cherry laurel.... would be my suggestion as well.

Thought a pic up against the white wall may help out
Not a lot I can do about my hands nutcutlet
Other angles help to see if leaves opposite or alternate.
Still think Cherry laurel.
Thanks for clear new pics.
