hi, I have two trees that are starting to outgrow my little garden so I'd like to prune slightly. Any ideas what they are? It's my mum's old garden and they've been here as long as I can remember. So 25 years plus.
I've got a little twisted hazel in a pot and the leaves are slightly different Ladybird4. I actually do have a couple of hazelnuts on that one. The lighter more yellow tree does have very small white flowers but nothing to write home about. The second post of the tree with darker leaves you just see the end of the flowers now turning to seeds.

The top one looks as if it could be a twisted hazel but I'd like a second opinion. Are those little green fruitlets on the tree in the bottom picture?
Ooops sorry Jacs, two more pictures popped up whilst I was typing so its picture 3 I think could be a twisted hazel!
Are the leaves in the bottom picture on the tree in picture 3? That could mean the the little fruitlets I mentioned are young hazel nuts.
