Hi, I've just bought a standard photinia (about 6ft tall) 'Pink Marble'. Can anyone advise on the best way to maintain the pinkness rather than it fading or reverting to the ordinary photinia? Is there a way of encouraging more pink tinted shoots?
Many thanks.

Hello jekyllandhyde
I've had a shrubby form of this in my garden for about 3-years now , and have noticed no reversion to the 'ordinary' Photinia . Should any occur , I can only recommend carefully pruning out the shoots .
A light pruning in the Spring should encourage the variegated leaves you require .
Thanks Paul. The RHS site says it produces new pink shoots in the Spring anyway so maybe I'll lightly prune all over to encourage more.
Thanks again
