Hi, I have fallen in love with Alstroemeria's and at the moment have put 3 in my front garden border. I have been doing my home work and looked into the problems of Lily Beetle - unfortunately have planted one in a spot where I dug up a Lilly which was always blighted with Lily Beetle so will have to drench the ground with Pravado to prevent this lovely coloured beetle from attacking my Alstroemeria. Can anyone tell me of any other insect pests to keep a look out for? are they prone to Vine Weevils. I would welcome any advice on keeping my lovely Alstroemerias pest free.

Alstroemerias are not affected by Lily beetle, and mine have not been bothered by any insect pests. Slugs are supposed to be the biggest threat, but even they have not been a significant problem for me.
A agree with Alan Clark2, the slugs will be the biggest problem, especially fresh new growth in springtime.
