I we have just lifted the first Two rows of our potatoes and a lot of them have like a scab marking on them. Can you give me any idea what it is or what we are doing wrong please
Common scab. Usually a sign that the soil is too alkaline. Still edible, you just need to peel them.
Are you certain they are Charlotte potatoes?
They look an odd shape and a lot scabbier than I have ever had.
