Any tips on buying a greenhouse?

I am buying a greenhouse

I hope to grow fruit and veg most of the year in it

It will be

8 x 8

High eaved

Horticultural glass

3 autovents and possibly a louvre vent

Should i pay extra for a more reputible brand

Should i save lots of money and buy secondhand

How should i lay the greenhouse out

    If you're confident and able I'd buy second hand; look around and there are some absolute bargains out there which means you'll have more money for seeds etc.

    Both of my greenhouses are second hand.

    As for laying out: that depends on what types of vegetables you want to grow.

    Daniel, that is the description of my greenhouse. Mine was not second hand but my brother and I erected it. Do you want staging all round or just down one side? Do you want a border down one side for things like tomatoes and cucumbers? These are decisions you alone can make.

    Thanks for the advice i have just bought a second hand greenhouse.  Anything i can sow in it in september?
