imageHi.  I've just bought s shrub from a local shop and it said on the package that it was a white Budlea tree. I've planted it but leaves are not the same as the purple one that  was already in the garden when I moved in. Any help identifying  it would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou

    Thankyou for the reply. Looking at my blackcurrant  bush and leaves are the same.

    Do the leaves smell like your blackcurrant?

    Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    It could be a flowering currant, one of those with pink flowers in the spring.
