I have Flymo EasiGlide 300v. Something like a lace came from underneath when I was mowing made a stranger sound and doesn't work. Not sure whether it's worth fixing. I am into fixing things rather than throwing away. Can anyone help.please

I think that's the same mower as ours ........ but I don't recognise the lace thing ... when OH comes back I'll get him to look underneath and see if he can identify what it might be .........

Hope so as they are cheap enough (£3.89 on ebay) but looks like some of the screws have 'torx' heads, so might cost a bit more for a torx screwdriver set if jbol doesn't have one.
Thank you folks
