What to do now

Do I leave the heads of the sunflowers on the plant for the birds?  They are losing their petals.....and drooping.  Usually I just pull the plants up. ....it never dawned on me that the birds would eat the seeds.

I can't post a photo. ....again. .....aargh why do I have such difficulty posting photos!?!?

Start with the camera icon ... if the photo doesn't appear reducing the size usually works.

I usually let the seedheads ripen then cut them off and hang them from the fence for the birds.  They love them.

TThanks Dove and scroggin. .....so no special treatment. .....that's great.  Just have to decide where it'd safe to hang the heads out of harm's way from the cats.
