Is this a Salvia? not a very clear picture because I risked falling in the pond so zoomed in!
Possibly, but need to see the leaves properly. The flower spike looks more like an agastache, but it's a bit too fuzzy to tell
Looks like a salvia that I've grown in a pot this year but mine has multiple flower spikes.
Thanks both for the responses. I think now that it is an Agastache albeit a small one ... my Salvias have multiple flower stems too. Prompted me to go out again and compare.
It's an Agastache, does it smell of Lavender?
Save the seed and you can grow loads next year.I ended up with 48 agastache and despite loosing some, they look lovely
Yes grown from seed this year and are coming along nicely - as are the Salvias. Note to Self - label properly!!!

I have a label gremlin in my garden I put them in he pulls them out, and I never see them again. Where do they go???
The cat digs mine up and buries them.
Agastache indeed. One of my favourites.

Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.
