Hi, I have a new wooden obelisk 190cm tall. It's for the middle of a bed so I need ideas how to stop it blowing over and also I dont want it to rot in the ground. I will be using it for clematis which will be cut down late winter / early spring. Thanks.

Here in our very windy garden garden everything has to be secure, we ram 3' posts, about 3 x 3" wood, in the ground as far as to leave a foot showing and fix this to obelisks or arches.
thanks Lyn, I'll get OH on it! Hadnt thought it through, just expected it to sit on the soil, silly me!
