Animal faeces

Over the last few weeks I keep finding a large amount of animal poo in my garden. I have cats but know they bury theirs and this looks just like dog poo but is light brown. I back onto a river and get deer in my garden but know they have rabbit like dropping. There is also a large amount so would feel its a larger animal

Not all cats bury their poo ... many males leave it in the open to mark their territory.  Large tom cats can do big poos.

    Or maybe it's a fox ... take a look here http://www.downthelane.net/garden-wildlife/identifying-animal-droppings.php

  • It's definitely not a fox there's is nearly black and hard. I did think it was a rogue cat but there is so much the cat would have to be very big. Also I don't think my ginger toms would be allowing that

  • NNo looks nothing like fox poo it looks like a dogs but very light brown to grey in colour and loads of it I have disposed of all but next time will take a picture
